Memory For Dave and the Stempien Family
Dave we miss you so much already. We mourn and grieve for you every day. We know that you are in heaven because you are a truly good man always ready to help in any way. We are thankful and grateful that we had you in our earthly lives but only wish it could have been longer. You will always be our special wonderful neighbor and friend living next door in our hearts forever. There will never be another like you. Once in a lifetime you will maybe get a neighbor like you, Dave, if you are lucky! You are your father Stanley's son and like him in so many ways. I believe you may have told me that you were born on his birthday and that would be fitting. How many times you would stop over in the evening for a cup of coffee and biscotti sitting by our woodstove. We long to hear the doorbell ring. We are so glad that you came over to our "Haunted Barn” this past Halloween to sit by the fire and eat popcorn and pizza and drink spiced cider. We were happy that you seemed happy. Dave you once joked that you would like to live in our barn and sleep on the couch by the fireplace. Actually I'm not sure you were joking! Underneath that easy going congenial manner was a will of iron. You faced life’s challenges with bravery and faith. We hope we can do as well. Our condolences to the family and to everyone who had the honor (and we do mean honor) of knowing Dave.

David was a classmate of mine in Finderne Elementary, Adamsville Intermediate, and BRHS East. He was one of the kindest and most fair-minded kids I grew up with during those years. The news of his passing truly saddened me. This gentle soul was taken from this world much too soon. RIP, David, and may you be forever in the care of our everlasting God.

David, we had a lot of fun working together at Project Control Associates. You were always gracious about the pranks I played on you and as we kept the mood light while we worked on reports into the wee hours of the night together. You were the handsome man. I am heartbroken over your passing. I will miss you, my friend.
I will aways cherish and remember how you spent those many hours visiting me and how you provided support to my family after my medical emergency three years ago.
Our sympathy goes out to your sisters at this difficult time.

Stempien family,
In the brief time I have known David I will remember him as a kind thoughtful gentleman. He always was extremely courteous caring and professional to each and everyone. Even in some contentious situations. I am truly saddened to learn of his passing especially after all of his perseverance in his recent situation. It was a pleasure to know David, all he accomplished and his patience and unselfish caring for his parents. May he be free of pain and spending time with his parents in a wonderful eternal peaceful green space. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Fondly Leanne.

Dear Brother Dave,
I thought of you today. But that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday. And days before that too. I think of you in silence. I often speak your name. Now all I have are memories. Your memory is my keepsake. With which I'll never part. God has you in his keeping.
I have you in my heart.
Love, Kathy

In 2004 we briefly met, Had hours long conversation, Thanks to you and the experiences you had, You was able to give me good advice, I'm a business owner, own a home, Had my first kid, I never forgot what you said, Rest in heaven, It doesn't matter who you are what you have or do a law of compensation work, we get just what we earn, if we love others with our hearts, we get love in return, The little things you sometimes to do for others return quiet unexpectedly in a peculiar way.
