For 15 years George was the best Superintendent that I have worked for in all of my years in Education in Bound Brook. Once you got to really know him he always enjoyed a good laugh -but he was dedicated to the education of all of the students in the Bound Brook and South Bound Brook schools. George was a man of immense integrity and dedicated his life to helping the students of his community. Prayers go out to his wife Sue and his two children. So many people's lives were enriched by just knowing him -including myself. May he rest in peace. Don and Sue Bates

I feel grateful to have known George through our shared experiences with the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Somerset County. His warm-hearted nature and his easy ability to share what he learned with us will be missed. Jody Friedman

I only knew him from the Rutgers Master Gardeners of Somerset County since 2008. I can sincerely say that George was one of the nicest persons that I've had the pleasure of meeting. George will be missed by many..

Thank you, George, you were a special inspiration for me with Master Gardeners. Who knew lichens could be so interesting! Pure gold - the man was golden. JFH

I met George when he and his wife Sue came to California to stay with their daughter Susan during the Winter months. I shared many delightful evening dinners and conversations with them. Post dinner we would all gather in the living room to enjoy episodes of “The Crown” which were made more interesting because of the extra nuggets of information only they could add. They showed the quintessential essence of kindness and graciousness to me and made me feel like a part of their family. My heart felt sympathy for his loss goes to his family.

I am so grateful to George for being the most loving of fathers to my good friend Susan.
He lived life with grace, love and integrity and is surely reaping the rewards of a life well lived.

I met George three years ago. His son, James married my sister, Cris. I am lucky to have spent several occasions with such an honorable and humble person.
May you Rest In Peace with our Creator.
My deepest sympathy to your family.
