John was an example for us all. Despite his infirmities, I never heard one complaint. On crutches and in pain, he remained cheerful and gregarious. As per all of the above, he shall be missed. A golden thread has been removed from the tapestry of our lives, but each and every one of us who had the honor of knowing John will find a piece of his golden thread in our hearts.

My deepest condolences for your loss. You will agree with me that death is one thing we all wish to have the power to destroy. You will find comfort to know that our loving Father Jehovah will soon accomplish that for us. This is what he promised us in Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces..." Yes, soon, death will no longer be able to cause us pain. Not only death will be no more, but will also make it possible for us to be reunited with our dead loved ones by means of resurrection. Through his son Jesus he made us this promise in John 5:28 " " Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.." Imagine how joyful it will be to embrace Angel again !
