Obituary of Frank Patullo
Frank J. Patullo 92, died Friday June 22, 2018, at St. Luke’s University Hospital - Fountain Hill in Bethlehem, PA. Born in Bound Brook, Frank was the son of Emilio and Anna (Colacci) Patullo. Frank was a graduate of Bound Brook High School, Class of 1942. He was a PFC in the Army during WWII and served in the 30th Infantry Division, which landed at Omaha Beach, Normandy, June 11, 1944. Frank and his brother, Sam owned and operated Patullo Dry Cleaning and Tailors in Bound Brook for 42 years. In 1947, he married Genevie, and shortly after they began building their family home in Bridgewater, brick by brick in the back of a ‘51 Plymouth station wagon. Frank was a member of the American Legion, Giles-Biondi, Post No. 63, Thomas J. Kavanaugh VFW Post 2290, Manville, 30th Infantry Division Association, Monte Carmelo G. Garibaldi Society of Bound Brook and a communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Bound Brook.
Frank was predeceased by his brother Samuel. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Genevie, his children Gary Patullo and wife Linda of Florida, Bob Patullo, and wife Sandra of Doylestown, Lynda Guarino and husband, Steve of Nazareth and Gayle Fodera and husband Bob of Hillsborough; his nine grandchildren, and five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Gathering with the family will be 1:00 to 1:30 PM, Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the funeral home, followed by a 2:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to AmVets 4647 Forbes Blvd. Lanham, MD 20706
