Nancy Ann Burdick, 66, passed away peacefully at Morristown Memorial Hospital on June 10, 2022 after a nearly 25 year battle with numerous cancers. Born in Somerville, NJ Nancy was the daughter of Michael and Nancy (Peppe) Campanella. Nancy was a graduate of Bound Brook High School (class of 1974) and Merrimack College where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Nancy was extremely hard working and began her professional career at Campanella Construction and continued on at the Diocese of Metuchen and Pizzo & Pizzo Builders where she was in charge of all finances. Nancy loved traveling to Jamaica and Tybee Island with her beloved husband and soulmate Allen, she also enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City and time on her lucky slot machines. Nancy was a fighter and extraordinarily tough, she was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend that will be truly missed by everyone she knew.
Nancy is survived by her husband Allen, her four daughters and their husbands: Lee Ann Wertheim (Brian), Danielle Earl (Brian), Alexandra Donnarumma (Justin), Nancy Gatti (Phil), her six grandchildren: Taylor, Antonia, Brian, Finnley, Isabella, Philip, and future baby Donnarumma; her five sisters and one brother and their spouses: Sharon Zeppadoro (Angelo), Samuel Campanella (Gayle), Deborah Straub (Edward), Michele Jannone (Michael), Susan Lorah (Timothy), Joanna Morrissey (Steven), and her many loved nieces and nephews.
Gathering with the family will be on Tuesday June 14, 2022 between 4pm and 8pm at Hagan-Chamberlin Funeral Home 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. A Mass of Catholic Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Church on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at 10am, cremation will be private.
