Bruno Michael Doganieri, 91,died in the arms of his loving wife on Thursday, November 4th, 2021, at home. He was born September 17, 1930 in Bound Brook where he was raised. He was a man of high morals and integrity, generous and kind with a deep spirituality. He graduated from Bound Brook High School, received his bachelors degree from Emporia State College and masters degree from Rutgers University. This was no ordinary man, he was a teacher of Physical Education and English. He was an avid sports fan and baseball player. He married Sally Murphy Doganieri in 1982 and became father to her children Mona and Ronnie Staniszewski. He later became an adored and loving grandfather to 3 grandchildren; Christina and Alexandra Staniszewski and Cate Zielinski and great grandson, Kieran. He lived in Middlesex, Toms River and Bonita Springs, FL for a brief time before moving back to Middlesex in 2009. A devout Catholic he was a communicant at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook attending there until his illness. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Gemma (Colantuono) Doganieri, brother Tony, sister Dea Naldi, nephew Terry, his dog Sashie and many lifelong childhood friends. He is survived by his wife Sally, children, grandchildren, great grandson, two nephews Ronnie Naldi, Dr. Jack Winfrey and son-in-law Kenny Zielinski. Funeral services will begin 10:00 am, Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
