William Arthur Leitner, 57, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at his home in Piscataway. Born in Somerville, he was the son of William and Henrietta (Scotch) Leitner. Bill was a graduate of St. Pius X High School in Piscataway, and Rutgers University-Newark, where he received his BA in business and accounting. In 1998 he moved to Manhattan, and returned to Piscataway in 2005. Bill was an avid sports fan. He loved the Giants, the Rangers, and the Yankees. He had a knack for language, and spoke fluent Italian and German. William was predeceased by his father, William in 1987. He is survived by his beloved mother, Henrietta (Scotch) Leitner, of Piscataway; his sister, Joanne Kaziska, her husband Andy, and their children, Matthew, and Tyler, of Whitehouse Station, and Joseph, and fiancée, Caroline of Ewing; and his brothers, Edward Leitner, his wife Dee, and their children, Kevin, Scott, Daniel and Edward of Monroe Township; and Thomas Leitner Sr., his wife Laura, and their children, Matthew, Amanda, Thomas Jr., and Christina, of Flemington. In addition to his family he leaves behind many friends. Funeral Services will begin 9:15 AM, Thursday, July 28, 2016, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice in Bill's name.
