William E. Snyder

William E. Snyder, “Bub”, 84, faithful servant, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 27, 2021. Born in Somerville, he lived in Middlesex before moving to South Bound Brook in 1946. He worked for the United States Postal Service in South Bound Brook and Edison for many years before retiring in 1992. He was a veteran of the Korean War where he served in the Airforce. He was a member of The Green Brook Baptist Church in Green Brook, American Legion Post 63 in Bound Brook and was a former member of the South Bound Brook Fire Department. He was a generous man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. William was predeceased by his twin sister, Lillian Barber in 2020. He is survived by his wife, RuthAnn Reynolds Snyder, 4 children, Sharon Marchese, David Snyder, Daniel Snyder and Donald Snyder, 7 grandchildren, John, Jennifer, Rebecca, Sarah, Elizabeth, Anthony and Antonette, a step brother, Donald Gum, a step sister, Helene Kataria and several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook followed by funeral services at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
