Warren L. Staller, 88, died Monday, April 17, at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hillsborough. Born February 24, 1929, in Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Norman G. and Ada Carl Staller. He resided in Bridgewater for thirty-seven years, moving to South Bound Brook in 1998. Warren graduated Bound Brook High School, Class of 1945, and Rutgers University, Class of 1960. He was a United States Marine Corps veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a self employed financial insurance agent for fifty-two years, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed classical music, fishing, gardening, and was a great storyteller. Warren was predeceased by his loving wife of sixty-five years, June Witzel Staller in 2013, and his sister, Leona Kasis. He is survived by his sons, Eric W. (Liz) Staller of Raritan, Norman C. (Robin) Staller of Bridgewater, Glenn M. Staller of Somerville; his daughter, Karen L. Applegate of Suffield, Connecticut; his brother, Wade Staller of Hanover, Pennsylvania, and his beloved grandchildren, Amanda (Steve) Hess, Eric J. Staller, Matthew Staller, and Andrew Staller. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, April 20, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.
