Wanda Wojton, 93, died Saturday, May 2, 2015, at The Chelsea at Bridgewater, in Bridgewater. Born in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of John and Gabriella (Izela) Gajewski. She was a lifelong area resident. She and her husband, John, owned and operated John’s Market , on Talmadge Avenue, Bound Brook, for over thirty years, before selling the store and retiring in the 1970's. She also worked as a bookkeeper for Van Syckle Insurance Agency, Bound Brook. She was a communicant of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Somerville, and a member of the Bridgewater Senior Club. Wanda was predeceased by her husband, John Wojton, in 2010, and her brothers, Fred and Ted Gajewski. She is survived by her son, Jack and his wife Nancy Wojton of Gladstone, her grandsons, Mark and his wife Heather of Seattle Washington, David and his wife Lauren Wojton of Brielle, and her great-grandchildren Hazel, Summer, and Finn. Funeral services will be 8:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 6, at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, 35 Mountain Avenue, Somerville. Burial will be at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, South Plainfield. Visiting at the funeral home will be Tuesday, May 5 from 3:00 - 7:30 PM.
