Virginia Lee Monaghan

Virginia Lee Monaghan, 60 of Bridgewater, NJ Passed away peacefully on January 3, 2024, at CareOne of Madison in Morristown, NJ.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Virginia (nee Bilquin), Virginia was born in Bronx, NY on October 8, 1963. She was a graduate of Bridgewater Raritan East High School. Virginia worked for many years at the Somerset County Clerk’s Office as an administrative assistant. She was happiest spending time with her beloved family and dogs.

Virginia was predeceased by her sister Kelly Shea. She is survived by her brother Michael and wife Gail, sister Dani Kennedy and husband Brian, and sister, Sunny Cordon, nieces; Melanie Medina, Veronica Adams, April Carlson, nephews; Liam Monaghan, Matthew Cordon, Thomas Shea and several great nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may gather on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm with a prayer service to be held from 11:45am – 12 pm at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Virginia’s name to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
