Virginia Karmas, 90, died Sunday July 2, 2017 At Arbor Glen, Bridgewater. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of Anthony and Eva Savage. She was a legal secretary for National Biscuit Company in New York City. She was a Bound Brook resident for forty years, before moving to Bridgewater in 2002. She was an expert baker, and a supporter of the National Audobon Society. Virginia was preeceased by her beloved husband, George Karmas, in 2000. She is survived by her brother, William Savage of Jackson, her two nephews, Robert Savage and wife Cathy, John Savage, and wife Lucie; nieces Jeanne Finn and her husband Stephen, Laura Plisky and her husband John; and her great nieces and nephews, Tom, Lauren, Toby, Sarah, Allison, Mary Rose, Matthew, and Mark. Gathering with the family will be Thursday, July 6, from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be Friday, 10:00 A.M., at the funeral home. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery.
