Thomas Barile

Thomas W. Barile of Chadwick Beach, passed away in his home on January 1, 2018, at the age of 71. Tom graduated from Bound Brook High School in Bound Brook, serving as his Class President in 1964, and subsequently received his Bachelor’s Degree from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. He maintained relationships with numerous classmates through regular class reunions. Tom retired from Liberty Mutual Insurance Company in 2002, after twenty-five years of service. Tom enjoyed entertaining family and friends at his shore home in Chadwick Beach, and was considered by those he hosted to be a culinary master. He enjoyed reading World War II history, was an avid supporter of the New York Giants football team, and could always enjoy a good cigar. Viewed as his family’s patriarch, Tom was held in high regard and respect by those who knew and loved him. He possessed an ability to make each family member feel important and loved. Tom took great joy in his relationships with his eleven nieces and nephews, and his eleven great-nieces and great-nephews. He will be greatly missed. Tom was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Vivian Barile. He is survived by two brothers, James and his wife, Barbara of Flemington, and David and his wife, Ida of Stafford, Virginia, and a sister, Jane of Centennial, Colorado. Gathering with the family will be 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Friday, January 5, at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin 9:15 A.M. Saturday, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church in Bound Brook. Burial will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough
