Teresa Maiullo, 87, died Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center in Bridgewater. She was the loving mother of five sons and had a beautiful singing voice. Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of Joseph Antonio and Donata (Romano) Patullo. Teresa was a resident of Bound Brook for 50 years; prior to that she had lived in Bayville for 20 years. While living in Bayville, Teresa was a communicant of St. Bernard Church and a member of the Rosary Altar Society. While in Bound Brook, she was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She was also very active with Our Lady of the Mount church in Warren and sang in the church choir. A devoted Catholic, Teresa watched EWTN at Bridgeway, so she could pray the rosary and attend masses daily. Teresa worked as a secretary in Berkley Township Clerk's Office; also as a secretary at Bound Brook High School, and a bookkeeper at Loree's Drug Store in Bound Brook.
Teresa was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Haake; brothers Sal and Phil Barbati and Tony Patullo. She is survived by her her sons Michael; Robert (Cindy); David; Jim (Cynthia) and Tony; her grandson Cristian; her nieces and nephews Walter, Karen and Kenneth Haake; Stephanie Storch; Diane Uzzolino; and Carl Barbati; and her husband of 50 years, Michael A. Maiullo.
Gathering with the family will be 9:00 to 10:45 AM, Saturday June, 4, 2022, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Cremation will be private. Donations in Teresa's memory may be made to Our Lady of the Mount Church, 170 Mt. Bethel Road, Warren, NJ 07059
