Terence “Terry” Jock Ledger, 75, of Middlesex, N.J. peacefully passed away surrounded by his beloved wife and daughters on November 29, 2019, at Hackettstown Medical Center. Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, granddad and friend to all. Terry grew up in Woodhaven, Queens, and graduated from Franklin K Lane High School in 1962. He was the son of he was the son of Jack F. and Antoinette (Dooley) Ledger. The Army veteran earned his bachelors degree from Rutgers College in Business Administration and thoroughly enjoyed working as a Mortgage Loan Officer for Weichert Financial, retiring in 2014. Terry truly loved life. He enjoyed his 4 mile walks at the gym, summer evenings at the Middlesex Pool, and traveling. He was a true Republican and an avid Jets, Devils and Yankees fan, but also appreciated Broadway, and Plays-in-the-Park in Edison. Terry was always interested in creating experiences for his grandkids and made wonderful memories at the zoo, local libraries, theme parks, Disney, and Scotland. He was a kind, gentle and sincere man who loved to have deep conversation and enjoyed lots of laughter over good food and drink. He was a man you wanted to respect and he inspired others to be their best. He will be deeply missed by his loving family. Terry is survived by his wife Mary Ann of 52 years, daughters, Kathryn (Brian) Devins and Christine (Keith) Dul, and grandchildren, Bridget and Aisling Devins and Luke and Charlotte Dul. Gathering with the family will be from 4:00 until 8:00PM at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home on Thursday, December 5, 2019. Funeral services will be at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church on Friday, December 6, 2019 at 9:30AM. Terry will be laid to rest at Bound Brook Cemetery in Bound Brook, NJ.
