Tatiana Zemlachenko, 93 years old of Mt. Olive, New Jersey, (formerly of Three Bridges, NJ) fell asleep in the Lord on July 13th, 2019 at her home. Born on December 22nd, 1925 in Davidova, Russia, her journey took her through Europe until the end of World War II where she met her husband Michael to whom she was married for 67 years. Their immigration story transitioned to a new life in the United States as they entered Boston Harbor in 1949. Tatiana supported her husband as he answered his calling to the priesthood of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Together, they successfully nurtured their congregations during eight parish assignments. She had a passion for family, music, cooking and gardening. She was a resident of Hunterdon County since 1963, before moving to Mt. Olive New Jersey in 2016. Tatiana was happiest when she was in the company of family members and friends. She had a love for music and it brought her joy to sing in the church choir. Tatiana was also very talented in areas of gardening, cooking and baking. She started the concept of “Farm to Table” before it became fashionable. Tatiana is survived by her three sons, Michael, Nick and his wife Kathleen all of Flemington, NJ, and Jerry and his wife Helen of Bluffton, SC; ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 17th at Hagan Chamberlain Funeral Home in Bound Brook, New Jersey from 6:00 - 8:00PM with the memorial service at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday July 18th at 10 AM at St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church in South Bound Brook, New Jersey followed by internment in the St. Andrew’s Cemetery located directly behind the church. For those planning to attend, Tatiana’s wish was to celebrate her life by wearing bright colors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tatiana’s name to Grace Healthcare Services, Raritan Plaza 3, 105 Fieldcrest Ave., Suite 402, Edison, NJ 08837-3628, or St. Andrew’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, PO Box 495, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880
