Steven Destefano

Steven DeStefano, 55, died Thursday, April 2, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset. Born in Somerville, he was the son of the late Anthony and Irene Stashak DeStefano. Steven graduated from Bound Brook High School, and played for the baseball team. Steven had a great love of music, family and friends and was well known in town for His rooftop snowman during the Christmas season. He will be missed by all who knew him. Steven was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Renee DeStefano. He is survived by his brothers Anthony, and his wife Wendy and Thomas, and his wife Karen, his nieces Anissa and Ashley and nephew, Brandon; his great niece Adriana and great nephew Anthony, his beloved Aunt June Moon, Aunt Edna, and Aunt Margaret, his cousins and his dear friend, Billy Jannone. Private burial will be Monday, April 6, 2020, at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated at a later date.
