Stephen V. Wisniewski, 78, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025.
He was born in New Brunswick to the late Stephen R. and Mary Wisniewski (Dolzycki). Stephen grew up in Somerset, where he graduated from Franklin High School.
After graduation, Stephen attended Middlesex County College, where he obtained his Associate’s degree. He went on to enlist in the United States Army and served his country from 1967 to 1970. He worked as a draftsman for the Soil Conservation Service, as well as a CAD Specialist for American Hoechst, Nabisco and Kraft Foods before his retirement.
Stephen was an avid NY Mets, NY Giants, and Bound Brook Wrestling fan. He treasured watching every game and every match. Stephen was an exceptional bowler, having bowled in a league for many years. He regularly tended to a dozen bird feeders outside his home as he enjoyed bird watching. He loved cardinals, coffee, and Corvettes. Stephen was a lifelong learner, always taking on new hobbies to bond with his grandchildren whom he loved dearly.
Stephen is predeceased by his parents. Surviving is his son Steve Wisniewski, and daughter in-law Nicole Wisniewski; a brother Samuel Wisniewski, a sister Barbara Levenia, and a brother in-law Mike Levinia; as well as three grandchildren Stephen, Samantha, and Vincent.
A memorial service will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 1st at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, located at 225 Mountain Ave, in Bound Brook. There will be a prayer service beginning at 1:30 p.m. with military honors to follow.
Cremation was private. All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
