Sidonia Huszar

Sidonia "Cyd" Huszar, 80, died peacefully at her home on Friday, February 12, 2021. Born in Bethlehem, PA., Sadie was the daughter of Steve and Theresa (Benczik) Matey. Sidonia was a graduate of Liberty High School and Rutgers University where she received her BA in mathematics. Sidonia played the piano and sang. She was a great cook, a fabulous card player and she loved to clean! An avid traveler, she loved going to AC, the Caribbean, skiing and camping at Assateague Island. An active member of her community, Sidonia was an officer of HAAC in New Brunswick, a member of the South Bound Brook BOE, the South Bound Brook Senior Club, and a member of the Bound Brook Moose Lodge 988. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church, Sidonia leaves behind her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph; her four children, Joseph S. (Lora) Huszar, Stephen (Michelle) Huszar, Adelle (Dave) Budd; and Susan (Vince) Bonica; seven grandchildren and her great grandson. Gathering with the family will be at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 10:00 AM to noon with a prayer service beginning at 11:00 AM. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Bound Brook Moose Lodge 988, 222 Talmage Ave. Bound Brook, NJ 08805.
