Shirley Defilippis

Shirley DeFilippis died on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at her home in Piscataway. She was born in Warren on September 25, 1931, and was the daughter of George and Agnes Mobus. She was the wife of Vincent DeFilippis who passed away in 2012, after sixty-two years of marriage. They enjoyed many years of road trips in their Winnebago and Antique autos with family and friends. She was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1488, Dunellen, and Senior Citizens of Long Hill Township. She loved spending time playing bingo and cards with her family. Shirley is survived by her daughters, Cindy Verdi of Kendall Park, Bonnie Rosinski and her husband Tom of Milford, Debbie Schall and her husband Dave of Hellertown, Pennsylvania; her son, Thomas of Middlesex; her six grandsons, Daniel Diacik, David Diacik and his wife Daniela; James, Michael and Steven Rosinski, Christopher Diehl; her great-granddaughter, Anabella Grace; her sisters, Nancy Cornelius of Warren, and Bette Rodgers and her husband Robert of Bridgewater. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 8, at Bridgewater Funeral Home , 707 East Main Street, Bridgewater . Friends will be received at Bridgewater Funeral Home 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
