Rose Zayschly

Rose Mary Zayschly 79, died Thursday, December 24, 2014, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset. Born in Elizabeth, she was a long time resident of Somerville. She graduated from Somerville High School, where she met her husband, Morris. She moved to Germany with Morris when he enlisted in the Army, and they settled in Somerville upon their return. They lived in Somerville for forty-five years before moving to Bridgewater in 2001. At the age of twenty, Rose Mary began working as the secretary for the Law Office of Samuel Chiaravalli, Bound Brook. She worked with Judge Chiaravalli for fifty years before retiring in 2010. She was a member and secretary of the Bound Brook Seniors, and a Communicant and Usher at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Bridgewater. Rose Mary was predeceased by her husband, Morris, in 2002, and her son, Richard Stephen, in 1960. She is survived by her brother, Joseph Babiasz, Jr., of California; many nieces and nephews; her Goddaughters, and many close friends. Funeral Services will begin 8:45 A.M. Tuesday, December 30, at the funeral home,followed by a 10:00 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Church, Bridgewater. Visiting will be 3:00 – 7:00 P.M. Monday, at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center, P.O.
