Mrs. Rose Rose, 90, died Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Avalon Assisted Living at Bridgewater. Born in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of Alfred and Nancy (Carcione) Oliver. Mrs. Rose lived in Bound Brook for seventy-two years before moving to Jupiter, Florida, and then to Branchburg. She was a member of the Lady Elks of the Bound Brook Elks Lodge No. 1388, and the Bound Brook and Branchburg Seniors. She was a Communicant of St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. She worked as a teller at Somerset Savings Bank, Bound Brook, for eigteen years before retiring in 1985. Mrs. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Charles, in 2007; her brothers, Samuel, Anthony, Thomas, and James Oliver, and her sister, Nancy Skreenock. She is survived by her son, Richard, and his wife, Ann Marie Rose, of The Villages, Florida; her daughter, Cynthia, and her husband, Guy Fimiani, of Branchburg; her grandson, Chad, and her sister, Connie Hinkle of Texas. Funeral services will begin at noon, Saturday, February 22, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, followed by a 12:30 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church. Burial will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
