Ronald Joseph Kwiatkowski, 66, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - New Brunswick. Born June 30, 1950, in Jersey City, he was the son of Stephen L. and Adele Compala Kwiatkowski. He graduated from Dunellen High School, Class of 1968. He resided in Branchburg for the past thirty-four years. Ronald owned and operated Bilt Rite Shoes, located in Somerville and two other locations. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved the outdoors and his faithful dog, Hunter. He enjoyed vacationing at Cape Hatteras, Nort Carolina. Ronald was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle, and loving manner. Ronald was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Dr. Richard Kwiatkowski, who died in October 2015. He is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Deborah Csontos Kwiatkowski; his daughter, Jessica T. (husband Stephen) Skakum of Bound Brook; his son Ronald J. (fiancée Daniela Hlinka) Kwiatkowski II of Branchburg; his brothers, Dr. Stephen Kwiatkowski of Morgantown, West Virginia, Dr. Eric Kwiatkowski of Hanover, Pennsylvania; his sister, Adele Shello of Branchburg; and his beloved grandchildren, Kendall and Jack Skakum. Friends will be received at the funeral home 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday, July 18, at the Bridgewater United Methodist Church, 651 Country Club Road, Bridgewater, with the Reverend Dr. Vicki M. Brendler, Pastor, officiating.
