Ronald Gee

Ronald Charles Gee, 82, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Regency Heritage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Somerset. Born in Manchester, England, he came to the United States in 1950, living in North Plainfield before moving to Middlesex in 1961. He was a foreman at Thielex, Piscataway, where he worked for over thirty years before his retirement in 1993. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War, serving from 1953 – 1955. He was a member of John W. Lupu Memorial Post No. 306, American Legion, Middlesex, and the Middlesex Rescue Squad. Mr. Gee was predeceased by his wife, Lillian Rusnak Gee, in 2004, his daughter, Karen, in 1965, and his sisters, Betty Romani and Margaret Prendergast. He is survived by two daughters, Cindy Skaar and her husband, Arthur, of Hillsborough, Susan Hendricks and her husband, Doug, of Middlesex; four grandchildren, Eric, Brenna, Ashley, and David; his great-grandchildren, Jolene and Simon; his brother, John, and sister-in-law, Beryl in Manchester, England. Visiting with the family will be Monday, May 18, from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., followed by the funeral service at 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Burial of ashes will be Wednesday morning at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
