Romaine Roth

Romaine Ruth Roth, 94, died Friday, April 13, 2018 at home, surrounded by her loved ones. Born in Allentown, PA, she was the daughter of Walter C. and Ruth (Moatz) Bailer. She lived in Bridgewater for many years before moving to Middlesex in 2003. She was a registered nurse graduating from the Northeastern Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia in1941. She worked at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville for over 40 years before retiring in 1985. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Somerville and Ruth Chapter No. 12, Order of the Eastern Star in Milltown. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and reading. She was predeceased by her husband Carl F. Roth in 2003. She is survived by her daughters Pamela R. Boyce and her husband Vernon of Middlesex and Paula L. Petriello and her husband Frank, of Aurora, OH, her grandchildren, Kyle Roggendorf and Kendra A. Wagner and her great-grandchildren, Alex Roggendorf and Rylee and Addisyn Wagner. Memorial Services will be held at 3:30 pm, Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 300 Union Avenue, Somerville. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Care Hospice, 110 West End Avenue, Somerville, NJ 08876. Arrangements are by Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.
