Rita Milesnick

Rita Ann Milesnick, 83, died peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerville. Born in Bayonne, she was the daughter of Mary and Stanley Szaro. A lifelong resident of Middlesex, she was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, where she received all of her sacraments and was married. Rita graduated from Bound Brook High School and she was voted “Class Artist.” She enjoyed painting and designing floral crafts, and sewing for her family and friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed figure skating, roller skating, and bowling. She loved flowers and enjoyed gardening and landscaping around her home. Rita enjoyed dancing and taking trips to Atlantic City and Cape May with her husband, John. Rita was predeceased by her brother, Ted and sister, Charlotte. She leaves behind, her loving husband of sixty years, John; her sons, Tom (Mary-Ellen) of Gladstone, and Scott (Helen) of Sergeantsville; her sister, Joan (Ed) Ziegler, Neptune; and brother; Ed (Phyllis) Szaro, Middlesex; her grandchildren, Justin, Jesse, Mary-Leigh, Jonathan, and Scott; and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 9:30 A.M, Tuesday, April 14, at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Middlesex. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery. Friends will be received from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Monday, at the Funeral Home.
