Raymond W Kopec

Raymond W. Kopec, 67, passed away on March 2, 2023. in his apartment in Bound Brook NJ. Raymond was born in Brooklyn, NY, on March 21, 1955 and lived in Brooklyn and Queens NY before moving to Bridgewater NJ in the mid-seventies. He was the son of Mary and Walter Kopec.

Raymond attended elementary and high school in Brooklyn NY before moving to Bridgewater NJ. He was a quiet man and made the most out of a simple life. In his earlier years Raymond enjoyed playing sports and in his later years enjoyed watching Baseball and Football on the television. When he had a garden Raymond enjoyed growing vegetables and up to his last days he enjoyed working on his car. During his life he worked as an electrician’s helper, USPS Mail Carrier in Queens NY and a Train Conductor for the NYC Transit Authority.

Raymond wasn’t married, had no children and is survived by an older brother Thomas Kopec. Cremation was private. Arrangements were in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook, NJ. Burial will take place at a later date
