Peter Zemeikis

Peter F. Zemeikis, 83, died Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Bridgeway Care and Rehabilitation Center, Hillsborough. Born January 29, 1932, in Elizabeth, he was the son of Peter and Barbara Zemeikis. He had resided in Bound Brook for the past twenty-three years. Peter graduated from Seton Hall Preparatory School. He received his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Divinity from Seton Hall University. He was a Roman Catholic priest at Sts. Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church, Elizabeth, for twenty-five years, retiring 1990. He was an avid reader of history and current events, and enjoyed oil painting. He was a Communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook. Peter is survived by his loving wife of twenty-three years, Yvonne Karalis Zemeikis, and his sister, Dorothy Bolanowski of Boca Raton, FL. Funeral services will be 9:00 A.M. Friday, December 11, at the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Mary of Czestochowa Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook. Interment will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
