Patsy Defrancesco

January 18, 1930 — February 8, 2025

Patsy DeFrancesco, 95, passed away peacefully at Carnegie Post Acute Care in Princeton, on February 8, 2025. Born in Monmouth Junction, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Concetta DeFrancesco. Patsy was a US Airforce Veteran, stationed in Alaska from 1951 to 1955. He worked as an operating engineer for Bellezza Construction in Kearny before his retirement. He was an avid bowler and saltwater fisherman.


Patsy was predeceased by his parents and siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Joan; his children Patsy Serravallo and her husband Fred, Virginia Wooton and her husband Chester, Dana Smith and her husband Steven, and Joanna DeFrancesco; his stepchildren Karen Nardone and her husband Dennis, Michael Mineo and his wife Pamela; his grandchildren Nicholas Christoff, Shane Smith, Sara Villani and husband Alex Peredjogin, and John Villani; his great grandsons Carson and Jacob Peredjogin; his sisters Josephine Noble and Palmina (Ang) Kish.


A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Cremation was private. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ 08805.
