Patricia G. Stafford

Patricia Stafford, 71, entered into eternal life April 23, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was beloved by all who were blessed to know her.

Patti was born in Somerville, New Jersey on July 23, 1952, to Robert and Norma (nee Quinlin) Thorpe, and resided in Piscataway, New Jersey with her husband. Patti married David Stafford on March 15, 1974, and they had two girls, Michelle Martinez of Easton, PA and Lindsay Lopez of Piscataway, NJ.

Patti graduated from Manville High School. She and her husband, David Stafford, moved to Piscataway where they would raise their two daughters. For many years Patti worked for Foley, Inc. before her retirement in July 2015. She also worked at American Standard for most of her career before moving onto Foley.

Patti lived a full life as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched. She treasured her role as a Granny and embraced all the time spent with her grandchildren. She had beautiful gardens she loved taking care of at home as well as baking, shopping, playing scrabble GO, watching crime shows, playing with the dogs in the family, going on family vacations, concerts, crafts, and everything else in between. She always had a passion for the good life! Her beautiful soul, generous heart, smile and contagious laugh will be deeply missed and with us always.

Most of all she loved her family and grandchildren and instilled in them strong values that will serve them well. She will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.

Patti is predeceased by her parents and brother, Robert Thorpe.

Patti is survived by her husband, David Stafford; children Michelle Martinez (Jose), Lindsay Lopez and 6 grandchildren Logan, Erik, Chris, Adrian, Camila and Marleny; and all her furballs Rocky, Milo, Sully, Greenie and Peppi. Many cousins, nieces and nephews who loved and will miss her dearly.

A viewing will be held Monday, April 29th, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 pm at the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home in Bound Brook.
