Pamela A. Park

June 18, 1951 — April 18, 2025

Plainsboro, NJ

Pamela Ann Park, born on June 18th 1951 in Kansas City, MO and raised in Eastchester, NY, passed away peacefully at age 73 in her Plainsboro, NJ home on April 18th, 2025. She was the cherished daughter of Robert and Patricia Griffiths.

Pam was a beloved member of her family and her community. She graduated from Eastchester High School in 1969 and went on to Baker University, where she met her future husband David Park. A member of Alpha Qi Omega, she graduated in 1973 with a degree in journalism. Two years later they were married on January 25th in Eastchester, and soon after they moved to High Bridge and then Clinton, New Jersey, to raise their children Eric and Imogen. She frequently said that this was the happiest time of her life, and that she loved being a mom more than anything else. A lifelong book lover, she preferred to read to her children rather than watch television, and did so whenever she could. She was a class mother at their schools. Later, she was a licensed optician in NJ. She loved Beach Haven, Martha's Vineyard, and vacations with her family in Wildwood, NJ, and Key West, Florida. She also loved downtown Clinton, the Clinton House, and ice cream with her family on the river at Gronsky's. In recent years, she channeled her love for her children and for being a mother into being "Grammy" to her grandchildren, who became the light of her life. She found joy in playing games with them and watching them grow.

She is survived by her brother Leigh and his family; David and his family; her children Eric and Imogen; her grandchildren Owen, Noah, Emma, Junot and Rye; and by her best friend since age 4, Toni Viscio, and her family; as well as many friends. She is deeply missed.
