Nicolas Orofino

Nicolas Orofino, 53, passed away suddenly at Powerback Rehab in Piscataway after battling a chronic illness. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nicolas was the son of Maria (Fittipaldi) and the late Giuseppe Orofino. Nicolas moved to the United States as a young child. He was a graduate of Bound Brook High School, Class of 1985. He worked as a forklift operator for many years at Republic Services, Inc. in Flemington. Nicolas was a loving husband, brother, son and friend. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle; his mother Maria; loving and devoted sisters Maria and Margarita; brothers-in law Tony and Leonardo. his five nieces and nephews; Cristina, Michael, Jessica, Robert, and Vincent. Gathering will be 6:00 to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave. Services will be private. We ask that face masks be worn while visiting, to be mindful of physical distancing guidelines, and for visitors to minimize time spent indoors to allow everyone a chance to pay their respects.
