Nick D'Alessandro

November 10, 1932 — January 1, 2025

Nick D’Alessandro passed away on January 1, 2025, peacefully in his home among his loving family, including his son Anthony, Patti his daughter-in-law, Nick his grandson and Carianne his granddaughter. Nick was a loving family man and a friend to those in his neighborhood.

Nick had an especially close relationship with his wife of 56 years, Aileen, who passed away in March 2015. She held a special place in his heart long since she passed and forever ensuring her memory lived on among his family. He devoted his entire life to his family and close friends.

Nick was a true “self-made” man who served in the Army during the Korean War. From there he worked as a tool and dye machinist and worked his way up to become General Manager, Director of Manufacturing and to Corporate Vice President. Nick was very proud of his career and created and saved jobs during times of financial distress. He brought several companies to profitability from the brink of closure.

Among his hobbies (including dog sitting and cat sitting) he loved traveling with Aileen and loved the N.Y. Giants, N.Y. Knicks, and N.Y. Yankees.

Nick was predeceased by his brother Pat D’Alessandro and his sister Ann Frezza. He is survived by his son Anthony, his daughter-in-law Patti, his grandson Nick, his granddaughter Carianne and her wife Gina, and his two great granddaughters Emilia Lori and Noa Aileen. He is also survived by his niece Donna Brown and her husband Ray, and many great nieces and nephews.

Cremation was private. All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.

There will be a memorial service and dinner for immediate family and friends.

A donation in his name has been made to the local animal shelter.
