Michael Ricci

Michael A. Ricci, Sr., 92, died Friday, February 14, 2014, at home. Born in Bound Brook, he moved to Middlesex in 1951. He was a World War II Navy veteran. Mr. Ricci worked for American Cyanamid, Bridgewater, and Ethicon, Bridgewater, for many years before retiring several years ago. He was a Communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church, Middlesex, where he belonged to the Holy Name Society and the Holy Infant Male Choir. He was a member of the Giles - Biondi Post No. 63, American Legion, Bound Brook, and was past president of the Sons of Italy, Bound Brook. He was an avid bowler and golfer. Michael was predeceased by his wife, Elisabeth R. Frank, in 2002; his sister, Carmela Juronics, and his brother Anthony Ricci. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Blackstone of Arlington, Massachusetts, two sons, Michael A. Ricci, Jr., and his wife, Katherine, of Warren, Thomas Ricci of Riverside RI; his sister, Felice Zujkowski, and her husband Ed, of Bound Brook; four grandchildren, Jennifer, Alissa, Christopher, and Matthew, and several nephews. Funeral services will begin 8:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 19, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, followed by a 9:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin Church. Burial will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
