Michael L Conrad

Michael L. Conrad Sr., 80, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Born in Newark, he was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Dolores Meyer Conrad Krumeich.

Michael grew up in Edison, served in the U.S. Army Peacekeeping Force in Korea and upon returning made Bridgewater his longtime home.

He dedicated his career to the township, working in the public works department. Michael was an avid golfer and an active member of the Station 1 Martinsville Fire Department.

He is survived by his children: Lori, Michael Jr., and Christina; his grandchildren Leah, Alyssa, and Daisy; and siblings Patrick Conrad (North Carolina), Kathy Conrad Van Nostran (Florida), Terry Krumeich Slemmer (New Jersey), and Beth Krumeich Mellas (Virginia).

A graveside service will begin at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Somerset Hills Memorial Park, 95 Mt. Airy Road, Basking Ridge. Cremation was private. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.
