Michael Bischoff

Michael D. Bischoff, age 66, of Freehold, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2024.

Born in Passaic, Michael attended Bound Brook High School. Following his education, he embarked on a successful career where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors and started from the bottom, working for Lawn Doctor. Michael later worked his way up as an entrepreneur, purchasing that franchise he started at, and where he ended up owning and operating multiple Lawn Doctor franchises before his well-deserved retirement in 2022.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael had a profound love for his family and the outdoors, often spending his leisure time fishing and hunting. His greatest source of happiness was found within the embrace of his family. While his children were growing up, he spent his weekends attending their events and games. He even went as far as to sign up to coach their teams. His grandson, Maverick, held a special place in his heart, bringing light and laughter into his world.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Glenford and Madeline Ackerly.

He is survived by his loving wife, Stacy, his beloved children, Anastasia, Adele (James) Balser, and Nadine, his grandson Maverick Balser, his siblings, Steve (Csilla) and Peggy (Chris) Tomaro Lenhart, 14 nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.

A gathering will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ.

Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024 with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery. All services are under the supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
