Mary Page Lloyd Weaver, 95, died Tuesday, November 12, 2013, at Emeritus Senior Living at Hillsborough. Born January 23, 1918, in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of E. Augustus and Mary Page Lloyd. Her father was the owner and pharmacist of Lloydâs Drug Store, formerly on Main Street, Bound Brook. She was a lifelong borough resident until moving to Emeritus in 2007. A graduate of Bound Brook High School, a student at Middlebury College in Vermont, and a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College, Page taught second grade for the South Bound Brook, Cranford, and Somerville, boards of education, retiring in 1951. She was a 50 year member of Camp Middlebrook Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution, Bound Brook, and the Bound Brook Womanâs Literary Club. She was an 81 year member of the Bound Brook Congregational Church, where she had been active in the churchâs Womanâs Association. She was an avid Contract Bridge and Scrabble player, and a world traveler. Her other interests included geography, history, genealogy, and swimming. Mrs. Weaver was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Robert Earl Weaver, who died March 7, 2012, and her little sister Frances, who died in 1922. She is survived by her daughter, Mary P. Elliott of East Millstone. Memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 23, at the Bound Brook Congregational Church. Interment of ashes will be at 2:00 PM at Bound Brook Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bound Brook Congregational Church, Church & High Streets, Bound Brook, NJ 08805, or a cash donation may be made to the caregivers at Emeritus Senior Living at Hillsborough, 600 Auten Road, Hillsborough, NJ 08844. Arrangements are by Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, Bound Brook.
