Mary Heuner

Mary died peacefully, surrounded by loving family. After 5 weeks and 4 days apart, she and her devoted husband of sixty-one years, Bob, are reunited for all eternity.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Grace Stephens, sister-in-laws, Irene Wallace and Maria Moore, three children, Bobby Heuner, Jeanne Marie Hamilton, and Chris Heuner, many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and pets.

Born and raised in Manhattan, New York, Mary met Bob at a Halloween dance. They were true soulmates and spent sixty-six years together.

Mary was an incredibly giving person and went out of her way to support and encourage not only her loved ones but anyone she met.

Before getting married, Mary worked as a secretary for the FBI. She was an avid bowler, coffee lover, and active member of her community. Mary spent her time traveling with her husband, family, and friends. She genuinely enjoyed all the time spent with her family.

Mary was a very kind and beautiful person. She loved her family with all her heart. We all love her so much and will carry her love with us and miss her each day.

Mary and Bob were long-time parishioners of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Bound Brook, NJ.

May Mary rest in peace with Jesus, The Blessed Mother Mary, Joseph, all the Angels and Saints, St. Jude, St. Anthony, and Family who have gone before her.

Gathering with family and friends will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:15 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 111 E. High Street, Bound Brook.

Interment will follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
