Marie Romano

Marie Romano, 94, died Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at Somerset Medical Center, Somerville. Born Sep. 12, 1919, in Bound Brook, she was the daughter of Ida and Louis D. Frezza, Sr. She was a lifelong borough resident. Marie was very active in organizations in Bound Brook, especially the Lady Elks and the Bound Brook Woman’s Literary Club. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Bound Brook. Marie was predeceased by her son, Joseph D. Romano, Jr., who died May 29, 2011, and her siblings, Dorothy Peters and Louis Frezza, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Joseph €œBubby€ Romano, Sr.; her 3 devoted grandchildren, and her 5 beloved great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Thu., Nov. 14, at Hagan - Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Church. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be at Bound Brook Cemetery
