Lynette D. Winters, 73, passed away suddenly on November 19, 2024.
Born in Plainfield, NJ to the late William and Mary Helen Hartfelder (nee Chapman), Lynn graduated from Middlesex High School and then went on to receive her bachelor’s degree from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
After college, Lynn focused on raising her three children while also spending her days as a substitute teacher. Lynn then spent many years working in the pharmaceutical industry as a document specialist before retiring from Insmed in 2021.
She loved spending time at the senior center, doing chair yoga with her sister and enjoying bagels together afterward. When she wasn’t spending time doting on her seven cherished grandchildren or her goldendoodle, Angel, she enjoyed reading or challenging herself with word puzzles and brain games. She truly enjoyed her retirement and always looked forward to camping and stargazing with her husband, Martin. Lynn also loved joining Martin and hearing him preach at the Reformed Church of Bound Brook and, more recently, the Griggstown Reformed Church. Lynn was always generous with her time, serving the communities of those churches and many others in the area.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Martin Winters; her loving children, Jared Psak (Amy), Lauren Ciabattoni (Kevin), and Adam Psak; adored grandchildren, Logan, Olivia, Emma, Riley, Nora, Hailey, and Colin; sister Barbra J. and brother William; former husband George Psak; and many dear nieces and nephews.
A gathering for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with a funeral service beginning at approximately 12:00 p.m. at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ.
All arrangements are under the care and supervision of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home.
