Linda Jean Schreiber

Linda Jean Schreiber died peacefully on Friday December 6th, 2024 at 9:42 am, at Regency Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Somerset, New Jersey.

Linda was born in Plainfield, New Jersey, on May 30, 1948. She grew up and lived in North Plainfield. She was the daughter of Madeline and Jack Schreiber. She was the older sister of Dyan Schreiber Duff.

She then moved to Bound Brook, New Jersey, where she lived for forty years and later in life she moved to Regency, in Somerset to live.

Linda liked working and teaching children, in nursery school, camp, and tutoring Hebrew in her synagogue.

She enjoyed working in flea markets and antique shops.

She is survived by her sister, Dyan Duff (Richard), Nephew, Matt Duff(Honeylit), grandnieces Fiona and Madeline; Nephew, Ethan Duff (Lindy); Cousins, Gail Hochheiser, Rhonda Mills(Charlie), Nancy Werner(Josh), Myra Stoner and David Kauffman, Claire(Ed) Frisbee; Aunt, Adele Hochheiser.

She is preceded in death by her mother,Madeline Schreiber, her father, Jack Schreiber, her grandparents, Max and Frances Hochheiser and Harry and Sylvia Schreiber, her Uncle, Al Hochheiser and her aunt,Shirley Koffman, and Uncle Ed Koffman.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Samptown Jewish Cemetery, 1500 New Market Avenue, South Plainfield.

Interment to immediately follow.
