Leslie Ramirez

Leslie Emely Ramirez, 13, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014, at home in Bound Brook. Born January 16, 2001, in New Brunswick, she was the daughter of Odalis and Ociriz Martinez Ramirez. She had resided in Bound Brook all her life. Leslie was an Eighth Grade student at Smalley Middle School, Bound Brook. She enjoyed dancing, knitting, photography, and cheerleading, among many other interests and activities. She will be sadly missed by her loving family, friends, classmates, and community. Leslie was predeceased by her grandfathers, Ernesto Ramirez, and Angel Gomez. She is survived by her loving parents, Odalis and Ociriz of Bound Brook; her sisters, Rosalina Grace Ramirez and Francesca Ramirez; her aunts and uncles, Marcial Martinez, Angela Martinez, Fernando J. Martinez, Dennis Martinez, Ernesto Ramirez, Claudio A. Ramirez, Maribel Martinez, Ivonne Ramirez and aunt and uncle, who are her Godparents, Helen and Carlos Rodriguez; her niece, Gianna Martinez; her grandparents, Socorro A. Cruz, and Fernando and Bernardita Martinez; and her great-grandmothers, Rosa Ramirez and Uvalda Garcia. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 17, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph R. C. Church, Bound Brook. Interment will be at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Friends will be received by the family at the funeral home 2:00 - 6:00 P.M. Sunday.
