Kurt Klingler, 36, died Thursday January 4, 2024, at his home in Hillsborough.
Born in Somerville he was the son of Erik Klingler and Cheryl Baer. Kurt grew up in Bound Brook and had graduated Bound Brook High School in 2005. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Kean University and had been an accountant at SHI International Corporation in Somerset for five years. Kurt’s greatest joy in life was spending time with his beloved wife, Alyson and their children Maddie and Kurtie.
Their home was always filled with lots of love and laughter. He was a talented artist, who excelled at painting and designing his own unique and colorful tattoos. Kurt enjoyed playing in several co-ed softball leagues, demonstrating his love for friendly competition and camaraderie. His appreciation for the outdoors was evident through his love of hiking and family vacations in Cape May, where he created lasting memories with loved ones. Fall was his favorite season, a time when he found beauty in the changing colors of nature. Kurt's adventurous spirit led him to explore the pages of Weird New Jersey magazine, where he and his friends embarked on journeys to the offbeat and unusual destinations featured within its pages. Their trips were not just about the places; they were about the shared laughter, the thrill of the unknown, and the bonds that grew stronger with each adventure.
Kurt is survived by his wife, Alyson; his children Madelynn and Kurt; his parents Erik Klingler and Cheryl Baer; his brothers Austin and Alexander; many other relatives and friends.
