June Fiona Hepler, died Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at her home in Whiting. Born in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, she moved to South Bound Brook at a young age. She was a Bound Brook High School Graduate and later attended Trenton Extension College in Pemberton, NJ June attended the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Bound Brook and the New Durham Chapel in New Durham, NJ. For several years she was on the full time staff of the Word of Life Ministry in New York City, and later, Orange, NJ and Schroon Lake, NY. She then took a civil service position at Fort Dix, NJ for several years and lived in Munich, Germany, for two years. She continued her civil service work at a US Military Installation, as well as traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Middle East. When she returned to the states she worked at McGuire AFB in NJ. In her later years, June lived in Crestwood Village in Whiting NJ, where she was active in the Crestwood Garden Club, the Crestwood Camera Club, the Crestwood Writers Club as well as the Creative Writers of the Glen Club. June leaves behind a a sister, Joyce Ulrich of Amelia Island, FL., a brother, Paul Hepler of Jackson, NJ, her two sisters in law, Josephine Hepler of Bound Brook and Ruth Hepler of Jackson, as well as many nieces and nephews.
