June D. Hoats

June Dolores Hoats, 87 of Manville, NJ passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023 with her loving family by her side.

Born on January 10, 1936 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to Charles Thomas and Doris Isabell (nee Schaffers) Hungarter.

June later married Gary Hoats after relocating to New Jersey and settling down in South Bound Brook. June worked as a bookkeeper for many years.

She enjoyed word search puzzles, watching Judge Judy and loved soaking in the sun on beautiful days. She never turned down a drive with her son Jeffrey to get out of the house and see the sights as well as enjoying lunches with her beloved grandson, Aaron as well as, granddaughters, Rachel and Tabitha.

June will forever be missed for her loving nature and beautiful spirit.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband and her son, Gary Hoats. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Hoats and wife, Cecilia, her daughter-in- law, Dominica Lewis-Hoats as well as her grandchildren Aaron Hoats, Rachel Hoats and Tabitha Weber, as well as her husband Samuel Weber.

Friends and family may visit the Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Avenue, Bound Brook, NJ on Tuesday, January 2, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 with burial to follow at Bound Brook Cemetery.
