June Blue, 89, died Monday, June 5, 2017, at home in Bridgewater. Born June 16, 1927, in Thurman, Iowa, she was the daughter of Bert A. and Cecil Burge Moore. She resided in Denver, moving to Zarephath in 1947. In 1965 she moved to Liberia, Africa, returning to Zarephath in 1981. She had resided in Bridgewater since 2012. June was a woman of strong Christian faith. She was a teacher for fifty years, teaching at the Temple Christian Day School in Bound Brook. She also taught while doing missionary work with Pillar of Fire Missions during her sixteen years in Liberia. She enjoyed sewing, making, and donating needlepoint baby blankets. June was predeceased by her loving husband, Paul F. Blue, who died in 2000, and her siblings, Wilmer Moore, Delbert Moore, Marie Bieber, Freda Cavalli, Mary Greer, Una Johnson, and Violet Richards. She is survived by her sons, Barry (Jeanette) Blue of Denver, Colorado, Robert (Sarah) Saydee of Zarephath; her daughters, Martha (Gaetano) Eosso of Bridgewater, Paula (Gordon) Hodgson of Zarephath, eleven grandchildren, and her beloved ten great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 17, at the Life Center, Chapel Drive, Zarephath, with the funeral service immediately following at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Pillar of Fire Cemetery, Zarephath.
