Josephine Patullo

Josephine M. Patullo, 92, died Monday, February 20, 2017, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Somerset, Somerville. Born March 28, 1924, in Trenton, she was the daughter of Frank and Angelina Offredo Tallone. She had resided in Bound Brook for seventy-one years. Josephine was the Guidance Office Secretary at Bound Brook High School for twenty-three years, retiring in 1987. She was Past President of the LaMonte School Parent Teacher Association, in which she remained very active. She was a member of the Ladies Elks of Bound Brook Lodge No. 1388, B.P.O. Elks, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Giles - Biondi Post No. 63, American Legion, Bound Brook. A Communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Bound Brook, she was a member of Court Gloria No. 462, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Bound Brook. Josephine was predeceased by her loving husband of sixty-three years, Samuel E. Patullo, in 2009. She is survived by her son, Kenneth E. (Susan G.) Patullo of Lake Ridge, Virginia; her daughter, Joann M. (Timothy) LaFleur of Bound Brook; her grandchildren Jennifer P. (Mark) Webster, Danielle (Richard) Jannuzzi, Matthew LaFleur, Andrew LaFleur; her beloved great-grandchildren, Anna Webster, Samantha, Megan, Joseph and Dominic Jannuzzi; her brother-in-law, Frank J. (Genevie) Patullo, and four nieces and two nephews. Funeral services will be 9:30 A.M. Saturday, February 25, at the funeral home, followed by a 10:00 A.M. Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church. Friends will be received at the funeral home 3:00 - 7:00 P.M. Friday. Interment will be a at Bound Brook Cemetery.
