Joseph Borkowski

Joseph John Borkowski, 87, passed away surrounded by his loving family on May 13, 2023, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerville. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, he was the son of Frank Chester and Alfrieda (Piatrowski) Borkowski. He was a resident of Bound Brook for many years.

Joseph was predeceased by his brothers; Frank, Richard, and Albert Borkowski. Joseph is survived by his wife of 43 years Shirley (DiGiampaolo) Borkowski; son Joseph M. and his wife Jamie (Krail) Borkowski; daughter Karen Ann (Borkowski) Miller and her husband James F. Miller; granddaughter Skylar Marie Miller; sister Elizabeth (Borkowski) Eggers and her husband Melvin of New Brunswick; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Gathering with the family will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook. A funeral service with military honors will begin at 1:15 PM at Bound Brook cemetery.
