John Sari

John Sari, aged 80, passed away peacefully in his sleep on October 13, 2023, at his home in Green Brook. He was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey, to the late John and Anna (Sansone) Sari.

John was especially proud of his Father, a Bound Brook police officer for over 30 years he always spoke very fondly of that time in his life as a young boy. John's journey began in Bound Brook, where he attended Bound Brook High School. A curious and diligent student, he pursued his passion for knowledge at the University of Maryland, earning a bachelor's degree in economics with a minor in history. In 1977, John decided to make Green Brook his permanent residence. He was the owner of Prime Source Ltd. In Kenilworth. John was known for his love of classic cars, and he was an avid collector of these automotive gems. He enjoyed sharing his passion with fellow enthusiasts and often participated in classic car events and shows, fostering a sense of camaraderie among those who shared his interest. In addition to his passion for classic cars, John had a deep appreciation for history. He spent countless hours watching documentaries on World War I and World War II, becoming well-versed in the stories and events that shaped the world.

John is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Brenda Griffin, whose unwavering support and companionship brought joy to his life. He leaves behind many close friends who will remember him for his kindness, his love for classic cars, and his fascination with history.

Cremation was private. Arrangements are in the care of Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home in Bound Brook. A celebration of John’s Life will be held in the spring.
