John Clifford

John J. Clifford, 83, died Tuesday July 3, 2018 at RWJ University Hospital at Somerset in Somerville. Born in Scranton, PA he was the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Ferrick) Clifford. He lived in Bound Brook before moving to Middlesex 34 years ago.He was employed by Apgar Brothers Trucking Co. in Somerset as the Terminal Manager where he worked for 30 years before retiring in 2000. He was an active communicant of Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Middlesex John is survived by his beloved wife Marian “Honey” Clifford, his dear children Robert and his wife Carolyn Clifford of Hillsborough, Diane Dunzik of Bangor, PA, Karen Clifford-Fritz and her husband Brent of Long Pond, PA, his devoted grandchildren Carolyn ( Lee ) Cottrell, Melissa and Nicole Dunzik and John Clifford, his great grandchildren Nicholas and Kaci as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin on Monday July 9, 2018 at 8:45 am from Hagan-Chamberlain Funeral Home, 225 Mountain Ave., Bound Brook followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Middlesex. Cremation will be private. Visitation will be on Sunday July 8, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
